How to Create 1 Month of 5-Minute Videos in Just 1 Hour

One of the biggest roadblocks I hear is: “I don’t have time for video.” But here’s the truth: with the right plan, you can record 4 five-minute videos in just 1 hour—enough to cover a full month of content.

Here’s the system:

  1. Pick 4 topics in advance – Choose questions your clients ask you all the time. Each topic becomes a single 5-minute video.
  2. Batch record – Block out one hour, set up once, and hit record 4 times. You’ll save time because you won’t have to reset your equipment or mindset every day.
  3. Outline, don’t script – Write 3–4 key points per video. This keeps you on track without making you sound stiff or rehearsed.
  4. Repurpose each video – A single 5-minute video can be cut into short clips for social media, turned into an email tip, or even repurposed as a blog. One video = multiple touchpoints.

Think about it: one hour of recording = an entire month of content that works for you day and night.

Instead of worrying about how much time video takes, imagine how much time you’ll save when people start reaching out to you because they’ve already connected with your videos.

If you’ve been thinking about doing more video for your business but keep telling yourself you’re not ready yet — this message is for you. A few days ago, I decided to post a quick, unpolished TikTok video to promote a small networking event I was hosting. No fancy setup. No editing. Just me, walking and talking to my phone. Within hours, the video started blowing up — hundreds of comments, thousands of views, and people asking how they could join the group. By the next morning, it had over...
