Leads from Social Media | For Real Estate Pro's & Biz Owners

If you’ve been posting on social media for months—or even years—but you’re not getting the leads you expected, you’re not alone.

I recently completed a content audit for a real estate agent who had been posting consistently every week for the past three years. She was doing what everyone says to do: stay consistent.

The problem?

Her content wasn’t giving people a reason to contact her.

Here are the three changes I recommended that can help almost any business owner or real estate professional generate more leads.

1. Create content your customers are already searching for.

For real estate agents, that means more home tours, neighborhood guides, community updates, market reports, and homeowner tips. Buyers want to picture themselves living in an area. Sellers want to know what their home is worth and how to increase its value.

The same idea applies to any business. Instead of talking about your business all the time, answer the questions your ideal customers are already asking.

2. Make YouTube part of your strategy.

Short-form videos are great for getting attention, but they disappear quickly.

Long-form YouTube videos continue working for you long after they’re published. They show up in search results, build trust, and are increasingly being surfaced by AI tools when people ask for recommendations.

Yes, YouTube takes more effort than other platforms. But it also has one of the biggest long-term payoffs because your content keeps working while you’re focused on serving clients.

3. Stay connected with people who aren’t ready today.

Most people don’t hire you the first time they find you.

That’s why you need a way to keep the conversation going.

If you’re an established business, consider using an AI chatbot to answer common questions, qualify leads, and schedule appointments around the clock. My favorite is 👉 HERE

If you’re newer—or simply want a low-cost option—a weekly email newsletter is one of the best investments you can make. Share helpful tips, local updates, success stories, and answers to common questions. Over time, you’ll become the person people already know and trust when they’re ready to buy.

The businesses winning today aren’t necessarily creating more content.

They’re creating the right content, publishing it where it has a long shelf life, and building relationships long before someone becomes a customer.

If your content isn’t producing the results you want, it may not be a consistency problem. It may simply be time to adjust your strategy.

I’d love to hear from you.

Which of these three changes would have the biggest impact on your business? Just hit reply and let me know.

If you're a real estate professional trying to grow your brand on social media, you probably already know you should be creating more video. The problem usually isn't knowing that video works. What does? Creating content for the people who actually live where you do business. I call this local authority content. If you're a real estate agent, talk about neighborhoods, new restaurants,...
