Everybody wants more views on YouTube. I get it. Views feel good. They make it look like your content is working. But the truth is, most business owners and Realtors quit way too early because they are judging their content before they have given it enough time to work. They post a few videos, check the numbers, get discouraged, and then move on to another platform. The problem is they are expecting big results before they have built enough content for YouTube to understand who they are, what they talk about, and who their videos are really for. What I have learned from growing a local business channel myself is that consistency matters more than perfection. Your 10th video will usually be better than your first. Your 50th video will usually be better than your 10th. The people who grow are not always the most talented. Many times, they are simply the ones who keep showing up when everybody else stops. Here is something a lot of people miss. Every video you publish becomes another door into your business. One video may only get a few views today, but six months from now, that same video could still be getting discovered by someone who needs what you offer. Then they watch a second video. Then a third. Before long, they feel like they know you before they ever reach out. That is the real power of building a content catalog. You are not relying on one video to change everything. You are creating a library of helpful content that can work for you around the clock. While you are meeting clients, showing homes, running your business, or spending time with your family, your videos are still out there helping people learn from you and build trust in you. This is why I encourage Realtors, business owners, and solopreneurs to focus less on going viral and more on staying consistent. A strong content catalog is not built in a week. It is built one video at a time. But over time, it can become one of the most valuable assets in your business because people can find you, learn from you, and build confidence in you before they ever call, message, or book an appointment. I have seen this happen firsthand on my own channel, and it is one of the reasons I am so passionate about helping others use video to grow their brand. Video is not just about getting attention. It is about building trust at scale. If you are ready to grow your brand and create video content that keeps working long after you hit publish, I would love to help you. Book a free call, and let’s talk about how you can start using video to build your brand, attract the right audience, and create a content catalog that works for your business.
